Virtual Gala Benefits:
The Neighborhood House Association (NHA) depends on the generosity of our neighbors to help us serve those in need in San Diego County. With over 309,000 individuals in the county living below the federal poverty level, the need is great. The Virtual Gala is a one-of-a-kind fundraising event that reduces NHA's event-related costs by over 200 percent compared to a live gala! This means more of your donation goes to helping NHA provide over 350,000 individuals this year with health, teenage pregnancy prevention, childhood development, seniors support, mental health, nutrition, HIV/AIDS services, housing counseling and emergency assistance services. Last year we raised more than $170,000. This year our goal is to raise $500,000 for our programs and services. Thank you for your support. |

Maria's mother works while attending school part-time to finish her degree. Her income is not
enough to pay for child care and living expenses for her and four year old Maria. Neighborhood
House Association's Head Start program provides Maria a safe, enriching learning experience
during the day while her mother is at work or school. Maria's mother enjoys peace of mind that
her child is well cared for, all at no cost to care for Maria. PLEASE DONATE NOW! NHA serves over 10, 000 children ages 6 months to 4 years old every day. |

Many Americans are just a paycheck away from being homeless. Where do you turn if you are a
family and find yourself living in your car or on the streets, with no job, no income and no
way to feed your family? Where do you go if you suffer from mental health issues, HIV/AIDS
or are a senior who needs help but you can't afford private care? Who do you talk to if you're
a teen who is trying to stay away from risky behavior patterns or a single parent trying to
create a better future for you and your children? For more than 100 years, Neighborhood House
Association has provided a safety net for San Diego's families who may need a helping hand
during tough times. PLEASE DONATE NOW! NHA provides support programs to more than 300,000 San Diegans annually. |
